My name is Rachel. I am in my late twenties and I live in Sydney, Australia.
Reading and writing are my two favourite things to do. I've had a book and a pencil by my side for as long as I can remember. There is nothing more enjoyable or satisfying that reading a great novel. One day, I will write a great one of my own!
I have had a variety of jobs including working as a tutor, teaching English, creative writing and history. I have also worked with students completing the world literature program through the International Baccalaureate, I've worked as a casual high school teacher, and a journalist.

I love to learn new things, and keep busy! Not only do I have a Bachelor degree in English teaching, and a Bachelor degree in communications (journalism) but I am currently studying a Masters in history! Phew!
Besides reading and writing, I love heavy metal and rock music, cooking new recipes, red wine, travelling, musical theatre, tending my veggie garden and blogging. I share my home with my husband and our two cats.
Being a nerdy bookworm I love nothing more than to curl up in a comfortable chair with a good book. My reading tastes are quite eclectic and I read a variety of genres. This is the place where I indulge in my obsession and talk about all things literary.
